Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

You will be able to practise and train in dynamic role-playing situations that mirror real life and will help you in your role as a healthcare provider. You will be introduced to a wide range of life-threatening, all-hands-on-deck scenarios that involve systems of care, immediate post-cardiac arrest care, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes. The goal is to strengthen your ability to communicate and work effectively as a critical member of a team.

Heart & Stroke’s ACLS program, based on the 2020 Guidelines, provides hands-on learning that builds on your Basic Life Support (BLS) skills, teaches you when and how to use the latest treatment recommendations for your patients, and takes your skills as an advanced healthcare provider to the next level

About

us...

As an EMT, Chris Becker had training to deal with many types of injuries but he never imagined that he would have to use his skills to save the life of someone he loved.

After a near-fatal experience involving his young daughter Shara, Chris recognized that not everyone needed advanced training to provide the most basic and life-saving care in an emergency. Chris reached out to the Saskatoon community in 2000 and started SharaLife First Aid.

SharaLife remains a valuable Training Partner with the Canadian Red Cross and continues to expand and evolve its services.

What They Are Saying

Chris is at another level of instruction.
He not only allows you to gain the knowledge and skills, but also created scenarios that ensures you are prepared for real situations.
I've taken a lot of first aid training over 35 years but nothing comes close to what Chris provides at SharaLife.
